Liang Feng was born in 1965 in Wen Chang, Hainan Province, China. He graduated from Guang Zhou Art Institute Oil Painting department in 1998. He is a member of the Hainan Artists’ Association and is Chair of the Hainan Oil Painters’ Association. Liang Feng is currently an Associate Professor at Hainan Normal University, Oil Painting Department.

Liang’s work is mainly realistic in style. He does a tremendous job in capturing the local sceneries and people of Hainan Island, a tropical island at the southern tip of China. His oil painting “Rainy Night” won the bronze medal award at the Chinese 10th National Art Exhibition in 2004. It was subsequently collected by the Chinese National Museum in Beijing.
